I've always adored makeup and skin care, so I've been constantly searching for the perfect beauty items to add to my routine.  Did you know that it takes less than a minute for chemicals from skin care products to get into your blood stream?  
I've been using LimeLight by Alcone's skin care line and makeup, and I have to say that it's a game-changer for me!  Alcone has been around for more than 50 years, and used to only be available to professional makeup artists.  When they decided to bring this amazing opportunity to everyone, they recruited the best of the best in the makeup and skin care industry to create their products.  Look up RCMA (Research Council for Makeup Artists) and Skindinavia... If you've tried RCMA's setting powder and Skindinavia's setting sprays (They also make Urban Decay's The All Nighter setting spray, for example), then you already can speak to the quality of products I'm talking about here.
Wouldn't you love to put your (professional quality) makeup on and have it look perfect all day without having to do touch-ups?  With 50% pigmentation, not only can you apply LESS makeup, but since it's a vegetable wax based foundation, it sits on top of your skin and doesn't clog pores, or settle into fine lines.  Add a couple of spritzes of 10 Years Younger Setting Spray, and your makeup will be on until you decide to take it off.

Planning

Do you use a paper planner for organization?  Do you use the calendar app on your phone, computer, or tablet?  Or do you rely on your fantastic memory to keep up with things you need to do?    I've used a paper planner since I was a child, and at the invention of the Palm Pilot, I had the Zire model and I thought, "Hey, this is SO much better than a paper planner!  It's so cool!"...
Then the inevitable happened... I dropped it, and it broke, so I lost all my information I'd stored in there.  I was upset!
So, I went back to paper planners again, as I've never just been walking, and all the paper and information I had just decided to fly away if I dropped it.
I use a MAMBI Happy Planner.  I got my first one last July, and replaced it with one that begins this July.  Not only is it beautiful and functional, I'm able to remove and replace pages (even put different pages inside) with ease, and that's convenient since I typically take my planner with me when I work, so I can leave months out that I don't need at the time (I store them on extra discs I have), and that system works for me.
I don't go all crazy with the decorating most of the time, as I also use my planner to journal, too.  I use washi tape, colored pens, some stickers, and if I'm feeling extra sassy (or less lazy!), I use my stamps, too.
I'm a visual person who does well with tactile memory, and I always have been.  I was the girl who did color coded note cards for studying.  My handwriting is pretty, as being a visual thinker, aesthetically pleasing handwriting is important to me and helps me remember whatever it is I'm trying to devote to memory.
I still keep my calendar updated on my phone, Surface Pro, and Chromebook, as well, but what I prefer the most is my Happy Planner!

I've always adored beauty products.  Lipstick is as much of an accessory to me daily as the purse I carry.  Being fair-skinned and in the blonde range (what you see in the picture is my natural color... I figure when I start showing a lot of gray, I'll color it an obnoxious shade of blonde, and call it DONE!), makeup is important to me.  I always start with a clean and moisturized face (Younique's cleanser, moisturizer, and Refresh Rose Water) and put on a primer (Love Younique's primer, but if I don't have any on hand, as it sells out fast, I'll try another).  On a normal day, I wear 3 drops of Younique's Touch Liquid Foundation (https://www.youniqueproducts.com/Princessapril/products/view/US-21403-00#.V0tK0BMrLnA), Younique's Touch Mineral Powder Foundation (https://www.youniqueproducts.com/Princessapril/products/view/US-21402-00#.V0tLFxMrLnA) over top of it to add a little more coverage and control shine.  I usually use a shimmer shadow or 2 on my eyes, liquid liner (usually in black), and mascara to complete my eyes, then choose a blush that complements my color choice for the day, and either a bright or nude lipstick with a little gloss on top, then I'm ready to go.  From start to finish, I spend less than 10 minutes on my skin care and makeup application.  Some people would rather sleep in an extra 10 minutes, but I feel much better if I take that time to add color to my face.
